Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Matthew 5:13(KJV).  How do we taste or what do we taste like?  Do we have that sweet smelling savor that reaches to the nostrils of God and is He pleased?  As Holiness, Pentecostal, tongue talking, bible reading and believing fellowship, we must understand that we need to be the smell and the taste that will add substance to the world.  We must remain in the kitchen, (Word of God) and ensure that every ingredient that we use is to make our words seasoned with grace.  Our smell to the world should be like a Bar-B-Que that is down the street.  On a good day when the wind has caught the scent of coals from the pit, it comes across our nose and we know that someone is about to get busy grilling.  We begin to smell the succulent aroma of meat and it smell so good that we begin to follow the smell and when we get to the location, we find that it is only hotdogs and onions in a skillet.  Nothing wrong with hotdogs and onions, but in our minds, why waste a whole grilling process on hotdogs when we can bring forth T-bone And porterhouse steaks, chicken, ribs, hamburgers, pork loins, and chicken wings.  Our lives are like that Bar-B-Que, many of us say we are fired up to do the Lord’s work and we have nothing of substance on the grill.  If we remain faithful to Christ, He will provide all our need and He will give us sustainability to tell the devil that we are ‘The Salt Of The Earth’!  Psalms 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.  If we are children of the Most High God and He taste good to us, we should have His same attributes and taste good to the world.
